このドキュメントでは、Catalyst 3850およびCatalyst 9000シリーズスイッチでIn-Service Software Upgrade(ISSU)を実行するために必要な手順について説明します。
In-Service Software Upgrade(ISSU)は、ネットワークがパケットを転送している間に、デバイス上のイメージを別のイメージにアップグレードするプロセスです。ISSUは、ネットワーク管理者がソフトウェアアップグレードを実行する際に、ネットワークの停止を回避するのに役立ちます。イメージはインストールモードでアップグレードされます。ここで、各パッケージは個別にアップグレードされます。
ISSUは、Stackwise-VirtualをサポートするすべてのCatalyst 3850およびCatalyst 9000シリーズと、デュアルスーパーバイザを備えたCatalyst 9400/9600スタンドアロンシャーシでサポートされます。
StackWise仮想(SVL)は、2台のスイッチで構成され、スイッチが相互に接続されて1つの仮想スイッチを形成します。SVLはインサービスソフトウェアアップグレードをサポートします。
ISSUは、アップグレード、ダウングレード、およびロールバックをサポートします。
