This document contains compliance information for the Cisco Aironet 1810 Series Access Points which are intended to be placed on the market within the European Union, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Turkey and other countries that have implemented the EU Directive 1999/5/EC.
The information in this document is applicable to the Cisco Aironet 1810 series wireless LAN products that currently include the following products:
The equipment operates in the 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz, the 5150 MHz to 5350 MHz, and the 5470 MHz to 5725 MHz frequency range.
This declaration is only valid for configurations (combinations of software, firmware and hardware) provided and/or supported by Cisco Systems for use within the EU. The use of software or firmware not supported/provided by Cisco Systems may result that the equipment is no longer compliant with the regulatory requirements.

For the Cisco Aironet 1810 Series Access Points, the following CE mark and Class-2 identifier are affixed to the equipment and its packaging.
The following sections identify countries having additional requirements or restrictions.
In Denmark, the band 5150 - 5350 MHz is also allowed for outdoor usage.

This product meets the National Radio Interface and the requirements specified in the National Frequency Allocation Table for Italy. Note Although Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein are not EU member states, the EU Directive 1999/5/EC has also been implemented in those countries.
The operating frequency in a Wireless LAN is determined by the access point. As such, it is important that the access point is correctly configured to meet the local regulations.
Wireless LAN equipment operating in the 5 GHz frequency band and installed outdoors need to have the 5 150 MHz to 5 350 MHz band disabled. Check the User Manual for correctly configuring the equipment so that outdoor operation only takes place in 5 470 MHz to 5 725 MHz.
This product is wireless Access Point to be used in large enterprise organizations for the deployment of a wireless network whereby Wi-Fi compliant devices can connect to the network. The product is intended to be used indoors.
