在橋接WAN環境中,唯一可用的按需撥號路由(DDR)備份解決方案是使用ISDN,因為不支援非同步橋接。
請注意,在ISDN連線上進行橋接往往會長時間保持連線處於活動狀態(如果不是永久性的)。如果電話公司(Telco)根據連線時間對ISDN收費,並且被跟蹤的串列鏈路中斷了很長時間,則可能會導致非常高的費用。
