本文档介绍Nexus交换机IP的ping或traceroute“To”或“From”的延迟预期。来自交换机的延迟响应是预期行为。
问题
当在Nexus交换机上执行交换机的IP之间相互ping操作时,观察到延迟。

解决方案
我们建议通过在终端设备/主机之间执行ping测试来检查延时,而不是对交换机IP执行ping测试。
- 当交换机收到ICMP请求时,由交换机CPU/Supervisor处理。
- ICMP数据包是到交换机的低优先级或非关键流量。
- 交换机CPU/Supervisor需要优先处理其他关键流量,例如STP BPDU、UDLD、BFD、LACP、OSFP、BGP和其他控制平面流量。
- 因此,当我们ping交换机IP时,可能会有延迟。
确认
- 使用ethanalyzer命令,我们可以检查交换机上是否收到任何异常ICMP流量。
- 在下面的输出中,我们可以看到从多个主机/源到交换机IP的ICMP请求。
