La multidiffusion native SDA est une forme de multidiffusion de superposition, qui est utilisée pour transporter le trafic de multidiffusion entre les périphériques de fabric, encapsulant le trafic de multidiffusion dans un autre groupe de multidiffusion. La multidiffusion native peut acheminer le trafic de multidiffusion entre les sources et les récepteurs qui se trouvent dans le même VLAN ou dans un VLAN différent (la multidiffusion du même VLAN peut être acheminée). Le trafic de multidiffusion entre les sources et les récepteurs sur le même périphérique de fabric (FE) n'est pas transféré à l'aide de la multidiffusion de superposition (encapsulation VXLAN), mais est acheminé localement par le FE. La multidiffusion native ne peut pas acheminer le trafic de multidiffusion pour les groupes qui correspondent à 224.0.0.0/24 ou à une durée de vie (TTL) =1, ceux-ci sont gérés via l'inondation de couche 2 (L2). La multidiffusion native peut être configurée pour transférer n'importe quelle multidiffusion source (ASM), une multidiffusion spécifique source (SSM) ou une combinaison des deux. La source de multidiffusion, 10.47.7.3, envoie des paquets de multidiffusion UDP à 239.0.0.5.
