Optics support for NCS 5700 Series Router

The Cisco NCS-57C3-MODS-SYS Fixed Port Router now supports the configuration and management of the Cisco PON OLT SFP transceiver on the NC55-MPA-12T-S Modular Port Adapter (MPA).

Inserting the PON OLT SFP transceiver into the NC55-MPA-12T-S MPA on the router facilitates the deployment of the Cisco Routed PON solution.

Restrictions and Limitations on the Cisco Routed PON Solution

IEEE 802.1X (Dot1x) authentication is not supported for the Cisco OLT interface.
