A reboot shuts down and restarts a router loading a saved configuration in the process. This process is performed when certain changes in the settings require a reboot or if the router is not responding or booting up properly.
If a reset to factory default settings is performed, all configuration settings that have been modified by the user are erased, and the device returns to its original settings. This can be helpful if you forget the password for the router and wish to regain access.
The objective of this article is to explain how to reboot and reset to factory default settings on a RV132W or RV134W router.
