This advisory provides information about the Linux Connector Ubuntu 1.15.0 beta release.
IMPORTANT! This beta build is intended for use in test and evaluation environments. Full production support for Ubuntu will be available in the Linux Connector release currently scheduled for January 2021.

Limitations
- This beta Connector will not quarantine any files located in the following list of directories:
- Ubuntu Essential Command Binaries: /bin/
- Ubuntu Non-essential Command Binaries: /usr/bin/
- Ubuntu Essential System Binaries: /sbin/
- Ubuntu Non-essential System Binaries: /usr/sbin/
- Ubuntu Essential Libraries: /lib((32/)|(64/)|(exec/)|(x32/)|(/)),
- Ubuntu Non-essential Libraries: /usr/lib((32/)|(64/)|(exec/)|(x32/)|(/))
- Ubuntu Configuration Files: /etc/
- Ubuntu Boot Loader Files: /boot/
- Ubuntu Linux Header Files: /usr/src/linux-headers-*
- Cisco AMP Connector: /opt/cisco/amp/
Note: This limitation will be removed in the official Ubuntu Connector release.
Known Issues
- Fault guidance for fault 11 (Missing System Dependency) in the console and ampcli have not been updated for Ubuntu. Guidance on resolving this fault can be found in the Linux Kernel-Devel Fault article.
