This section provides the default login values for different versions of ONS 15454.
Use these default login values to log into CTC for ONS 15454 versions 4.1.x and 4.5:
User Name = CISCO15
Password =
CISCO15 is delivered without a password in ONS 15454 version 4.1.x and 4.5.
Use these default login values to log into CTC for ONS 15454 version 4.6.x and later:
User Name = CISCO15
Password = otbu+1
The default login values are case sensitive in all versions of ONS 15454. The CISCO15 user name has SuperUser privileges. You can use CISCO15 to create other users. You must create another SuperUser before you can delete CISCO15.
Although CISCO15 must be delivered without a password in ONS 15454 version 4.1.x and 4.5, a few TCC2 cards delivered with ONS 15454 version 4.1.x or 4.5 are loaded with otbu+1 as the default password. This contradicts the information provided on page 3-27 in the Cisco ONS 15454 Procedure Guide, R4.1.x and R4.5.
When you log into CTC for initial setup on ONS 15454 version 4.1.x or 4.5.x, use CISCO15 without a password first. If your login fails, use otbu+1 as password for CISCO15. If you are still unable to log in, please contact Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for assistance.
