The Ethernet port on the Cisco Room Navigator might fail to operate.
The Ethernet port might fail when the Cisco Room Navigator is pulled across the table by the Ethernet cable frequently over a period of several months.
In order to improve the Ethernet cable relief, Cisco has released a new foot stand. Customers are encouraged to replace their old foot stand with this new improved cable relief version.

In order to improve the Ethernet cable relief, Cisco has released a new foot stand. Customers are encouraged to replace their original foot stand with this new improved cable relief version.
The original Foot Stand (to the left) and the new redesigned Foot Stand (to the right) are shown in this picture. The hole for the Ethernet cable has been moved slightly towards the middle of the stand. If you have the new redesigned Foot Stand version, no further action is required. If you have the original version, the one to the left, where the hole is all the way to the edge of the stand, then Cisco encourages you to replace it with the new redesigned Foot Stand version.
In the event the Cisco Room Navigator fails to operate due to the issues outlined in the Problem Symptom section, the recommendation is to replace the device. See Field Notice FN72497 for details.

SCM will validate eligibility and ensure that a request for a particular serial number has not already been submitted. If there is already a request, SCM will indicate RMA already submitted and NOT eligible for replacement.
