CSCwb93826 | Push notifications not working on Webex 42.5.1 |
The Network Push Server (NPS) application is no longer able to connect to the Apple Push Notification Server using tokens since ADP 2022.04 introduced certificate authentication.
The NPS application is no longer able to connect to the Apple Push Notification Server using tokens since ADP 2022.04 introduced certificate authentication. Prior to ADP 2022.04, the NPS application, when using tokens to validate with APNS, did not send a certificate. With ADP 2022.04, it now sends the certificate of the server (which is incorrect). The connection to APNS then fails.
The Push Notification service does not work.
Snippet from the NPS logs:

Workaround
Do not upgrade to ADP_Rel_2022.04_1.340, or roll back to the previous release if this functionality is needed.
Solution
