CSCvr75413 | APIC Connectivity File cleared post-ssd-upgrade, switch brings up ports prior programming vlans |
Cisco has recently identified a defect (Cisco bug ID CSCvr75413) in the Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). After a leaf switch is upgraded, the switch brings up the front panel ports before the policies are programmed. This might cause a connectivity issue if a connected host relies on the link level state to decide whether or not it can forward traffic on a particular Network Interface Card (NIC) or port. The loss duration is proportional to the scale of configuration policies that must be programmed.
This issue can occur after a policy-based upgrade is performed.
