The internal wires inside the multi-headed connector might snap due to insufficient strain relief. This causes the cable to no longer work.
These cables have a Product ID of CAB-HDMI-MUL4K-9M or CAB-HDMI-MUL4K-9M= and are marked with Cisco Part Number 72-10342-01.
After failure analysis it was determined that certain Multi-head Cables have a mechanical weakness that could cause them to fail prematurely.

The issue has been addressed and the cable has been superseded by revision 72-10342-02.
No image is seen on the screen connected to a Webex Room device or on the Webex Board device when you connect the cable to a laptop.
The Webex Room device or the Webex Board device does not detect any incoming video signal from the laptop.
Customers affected by this issue and with a valid service contract or warranty coverage should follow the standard Return Material Authorization (RMA) process to request a replacement. Alternatively, they may contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for further assistance.
