The Catalyst 8000V can also be managed by Cisco SD-WAN vManage, the management tool for Cisco IOS XE devices. For monitoring and troubleshooting, Catalyst 8000V supports the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), syslog, and IP (Internet Protocol) service-level agreements (SLAs).

Amazon Web Services trial

With Amazon Web Services (AWS), you can try one instance of Catalyst 8000V for 30 days. There will be no hourly software charges for that instance, but AWS infrastructure charges will apply. Free trials will automatically convert to paid hourly subscriptions upon expiration.
