Our newest fabric extender is a cost-optimized version of the Cisco Nexus 2348TQ, a low-power platform that is ideal for migration to 10GBASE-T. This 1-rack-unit (1RU) platform has 48 100M/1G/10G BASE-T ports, with six 40-Gbps uplink ports. It provides enhanced buffers, and extends the capabilities of the parent switch, providing scalable, cost-effective server access.
