The Cisco ONS 15454 CE-Series Ethernet card is an eight-port, 10/100-BaseT Ethernet module designed for the ONS 15454 MSPP. Ethernet frames are transported over the SONET through the virtual- SONET/SDH interfaces that can be mapped to optical transport cards via the cross-connect within the ONS 15454 chassis. These virtual- ports are scalable in size from 1.5Mbps to 100Mbps leveraging low-order and high-order virtual concatonation (VCAT) with the maximum aggregate capacity of 600 Mbps in total virtual port bandwidth per card.
