Data Sheet Page 1 of 2 GainMaker Node Mains Power Pack Kit The new GainMaker Node Mains Power Pack Kit is a field-installable kit that lets you convert existing line-powered GainMaker nodes and GS7000 nodes to local AC power (90 – 260 V). The kit targets current users of GainMaker nodes, and GS7000 nodes is intended for use in hotels, motels, schools, and Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) environments where local powering is needed or preferred. GainMaker and GS7000 nodes equipped for local power can also be used together with battery backup to ensure reliability in the event of AC power loss.
Some of the benefits of using this Node Mains Power Pack Kit to convert nodes for use in local AC power applications include:
● Reduced plant powering cost by using local AC power
● Cost-effective way to increase signal reach without additional power supplies
● Decreased warehouse inventory by using the same node for indoor and outdoor applications
