Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Select Collaboration Embedded OEM Licenses - Cisco Unified Communications Virtualization Hypervisor 5.x and Foundation 5.x. The last day to order the affected product(s) is September 4, 2017. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract.

For a BE6000 appliance, customer may purchase either R-VS6-HPLS-K9-MIG (under top-level R-CBE6K-K9, quantity 1) or VMW-VSP-STD-1A= with ISV1 service level (quantity equal to CPU count of appliance). For a BE7000 appliance, customer may purchase VMW-VSP-STD-1A= with ISV1 service level (quantity equal to CPU count of appliance). Other VMware vSphere ESXi license editions from UCS C220/C240 may also be considered. Purchasing VMware vSphere ESXi license direct from VMware may also be considered. For license-only Cisco UC Virtualization Foundation 5.x (R-VMW-UC-FND5-K9), there is no direct replacement. Installed base must procure replacement license and support. Customer may purchase VMW-VSP-STD-1A with ISV1 service level (quantity equal to CPU count of appliance). Other VMware vSphere ESXi license editions from UCS C220/C240 may also be considered.
