In diesem Dokument wird der Anrufverlauf aus der Perspektive des auf H.323 basierenden IOS® Ingress Gateway in einer Call Queue and Collect-Bereitstellung beschrieben.
In der Call Queue and Collect-Bereitstellung interagiert das CVP mit dem Intelligent Contact Management (ICM), um Anrufweiterleitungsentscheidungen zu treffen. Wenn der Agent nicht verfügbar ist, fordert ICM CVP auf, eine Anrufwarteschlangenbehandlung durchzuführen (z. B. Abspielen einer Warteschleifenmusik). Das CVP bietet eine VRU- oder Anrufwarteschlangenbehandlung mithilfe eines VXML-Gateways.

Ein ISDN-Anruf geht über T1 PRI 1/0/0 am PSTN/VXML-Gateway ein.
Das IOS-Gateway ordnet POTS-DFÜ-Peer 2 als eingehenden DFÜ-Peer für diesen Anruf zu.
Das IOS-Gateway ordnet VoIP-Dial-Peer 1 als ausgehenden Dial-Peer für diesen Anruf zu.
